Dino Buckler Papercraft prototypeby ~80sguy

Protoype build of Dino Buckler/Power Morpher from Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger (the show Power Rangers is based on).

This is a work in progress of a new version of my papercraft Buckler (original can be seen here [link]) updated with higher resolution art and more accurate details as well a three-dimensional handle more like the original toy.

It is not done yet, stay tuned! NOTE, I was running out of ink so that's why the back ins't gold.

What better way to make paper models at your option draw on programs like paint, photoshop or through 3D models?

I use to do it in paint, but I mainly use photoshop now because it's easier to go back and make changes. Plus it's alot easier to make sure the flaps on the sides are the same length.

I'm thinking of using a 3D model of the Red Ranger that I have and make a papercraft Power Sword, Blade Blaster and Green Ranger Armour with Pepakura software.

I've never used pepakura before. Everything I pretty much figured out with photoshop and in my head (the handle took me a while to figure out here.) Never had the paitience to build any of the models using it (it's extremely detailed so there's a lot more cutting and small tabs).

Right now I'm trying to finish the coins and belt holster, then going to print those out and see how it goes.
